Out of what he says are pure concerns for the health of his patient, the personal physician of the President of South Sudan Dr. Mawien Akot – a renowned Breast Cancer specialist – has revealed that the President has multiple health issues, and joins others in advising the leader of South Sudan to step down as his cocktail of Scottish whisky and medical marijuana treatments have failed to cure his ailments.

SPLM-IO fires, detains own press-secretary over Juba-shootings misinformation

South Sudan’s peace partner the SPLM-IO has detained the press-secretary in the office its leadership, relieved him of his duties and disarmed him of internet-connected devices after he allegedly spread false information about the cause of the shootings, and his false account has already been internationally publicised as cause of shootings in Juba.

Jieng Parish protesters take over SSTV, claim Machar’s peace ‘propaganda’ is too much

In what has been jokingly coined an attempted chicken coup, a handful of protesters comprising mainly of disgruntled youth from the recent Jieng Parish protest temporarily overran the national broadcasting cooperation in protest against the disproportionate time and resources allocated on the state-run TV station to the former rebel-leader and current First Vice President Riek Machar.

South Sudan JIA to donate air-stairs to Ethiopia’s Gambella Airport

Embarrassing pictures making rounds on the internet showing respectable South Sudanese generals and war veterans in Gambella Airport, Ethiopia struggling to climb a construction-type ladder to get into a passenger plane has struck a nerve with patriotic can-donate-state-property people in Juba and they have decided to help that struggling airport in Ethiopia by donating – not one- but two air-stairs.
