Makuei: Bishops and Imams soon to be appointed by presidential decree

With an ever-growing influence, presence and partaking of religious leaders in politics, high-level meetings and photo-ops with the president, it is only a matter of time before I’ve-been-feet-kissed-by-the-Pope President Salva Kiir assumes control and appoints able, loyal and like-minded spiritual leaders to head our religious branches of government –

“Pres. Kiir’s picture can be used in his absence,” Ateny clarifies national anthem ban.

The presidential spokesperson has come out to clarify the order banning the singing of the national anthem in Pres. Kiir’s physical absence, saying it can still be sung in some special events provided the president’s physical presence is substituted for (or represented by) a huge officially approved framed picture of him.

My rebel movement is not like the rest, explains Malong

General Malong has revealed that his newly formed rebel movement is unlike any of the other rebel movements as his mission is not to overthrow the government in Juba, but rather to remove all those bad elements surrounding and corrupting the good name of the president, and to restore to former glory the revolutionary and visionary President Salva Kiir who he says 99% of South Sudanese voted for and trusted to lead the people to the promised land.

Israelis reveal fatal flaw as its CCTV facial recognition software is ‘unfamiliar with South Sudanese faces’

Coming just weeks after the launch of a multi-million dollar CCTV and drones project to curb crime in the city of Juba, the Israeli firm behind the project has finally admitted that its software is unable to correctly differentiate one dark South Sudanese face from another especially at night. As a result, no criminal can legally be arrested or convicted of being a ‘domestic rebel’ as crimes continue to reign supreme around town.

Sudan to contribute 800 forces to protect UNMISS’s RPF from SPLA assaults

It has emerged that the United Nations Security Council this week has unanimously approved a resolution to create and rapidly deploy a 1,000-strong elite unit, of which Sudan has agreed to contribute 80%, whose sole purpose will be to protect the other regional forces sent there to protect civilians.
