Denied entry to Sudan and Ethiopia, Machar gets red-carpet in Somalia

Somali state owned satellite television has released footage showing rebel leader Riek Machar and his wife Rebecca Teny receiving a micro-red-carpet reception at the airport in Mogadishu after the duo and their bodyguards were reportedly denied entry into Sudan and Ethiopia.

High Court orders Pres Kiir to change official signature within two weeks

A High Court judge in Juba, who appears to have had enough with the never-ending cases of forgery and theft in the Office of the President of South Sudan (OOPSS), has ordered the President to ‘change his official signature’ or else he [the President] and his OOPSS will be held accountable for making it too easy to rob and loot resources that legally belong to the struggling state.

‘Peace dove is too white, too trained,’ GOSS revokes flight permit for one of the Machar’s peace doves

After days of waiting to finally fly-in in-style to great aplomb, one of the Machar’s peace-doves today got his flight permit revoked by government authorities who gave no reason leaving many to speculate that that particular dove had become “too light-white, too-trained and too SPLM-IO brainwashed” that its release and flight on the day will steal the show, carry out unprecedented flight-manoeuvres and risks displaying Machar in shining halo of peaceful light that could, to an untrained eye (and cameras), make him appear like a leader that his is not.

South Sudan prints 28-pound notes to promote its 28-state policy

The Central Bank of South Sudan (CBOSS) has announced it has printed notes of 28 SSP (South Sudanese Pounds) especially designed to promote and encourage the 28-state system, and is to be released into circulation the same day the designated First Vice-President of South Sudan Dr. Riek Machar is expected to return from ‘exile’, and two days later in the other state capitals – the day the Transitional Government of National Unity (TGoNU) is expected to be formed as per the terms of the peace agreement.
